Birthdays.... HA! you can't escape them! The excitement I felt as a kid and teenager to turn another year older and lets face it to be guaranteed gifts aplenty to unwrap and feel special for a day has always been something I have never thought twice about wanting to miss out on... HA! for those of you who know me very well, another opportunity to be in the spotlight was only more motivation for me to take advantage of and bask in... ;) Well... this morning I woke up feeling more like this.... HAHAHAHA!!! oh the joy... haha! That was the bitter part of the day which still brought smiles because its Joey and its Friends which make me happy anyway. ;) The Sweet Parts: Since the blessed day I came screaming into this world, my sweet dad has given me a bouquet of daffodils on my birthday and how could that not bring joy into one's day!
The best part of this day of course has been receiving the birthday wishes from the most important people in my life. I am so overwhelmed when I think about how much I love my family and friends... I am extremely fortunate and I hope and pray I will be able to return a fraction of the love that I feel from them. Thank you Heavenly Father for all the amazing people in my life!!!!! and of course all the birthday cake.... ugh.. I am going running in the morning!!!!!
